Kati is a strong advocate for her buyers, negotiating on their behalf with builder representatives, and walking through their home every week to take pictures, recommending inspections as necessary, and double checking to see that everything is going according to plan. She has great relationships with the builders and guides clients at each step in the process, from choosing the best builder, to designing a home that will be a great investment & a delightful place to live. In the existing home market, Kati ensures that each family knows the pros and cons of each home during the showing. She won’t hesitate to point out flaws of the home that the average buyer might miss. She is committed to finding the home for each client that checks all the boxes on their list and is in an area that has a good history of growth and community. Canyon studied at Oklahoma University and earned his Bachelor's Degree, Masters Degree, and first CPA license while in Oklahoma. He then made a move to Dallas and added a Texas CPA license to his resume. Following his engagement to Kati, Canyon went through the process of looking for a new auditing/CPA job closer to Fort Worth but became

Following his engagement to Kati, Canyon went through the process of looking for a new auditing/CPA job closer to Fort Worth but became interested in real estate, realizing that he had much more of a passion for that than he did for the auditing world. It offered the opportunity to continue helping people, combined with some flexibility that he hadn't experienced as a CPA.
Canyon joined The Story Group in 2018, and works with his wife Kati with a focus on buyers.
